Heard the name POCO? We think so! Because it created a hype in the market with their first phone, it is a sub-brand from the budget killer brand Xiaomi! Yup, now they are now focusing on flagship killer phones! Their first phone is POCO F1 and we got our hands on it, so can it be the next flagship killer? Let’s find out!
The Build Quality
Seriously what would you expect from a flagship phone? A great build quality made out of glass and not those plastics but here you need to sacrifice all those the POCO comes with a poly-carbonate back another name for the plastic back which seems durable but not premium. But their’s an edition which comes around 28k have an Armoured Back which is something different. Rest is same on the front, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a notch!
A 15.6cm (6.18) large display which supports 2246 x 1080 FHD+ and which is 18.7:9 display, which is vibrant and bright we could see everything outside at the full brightness level and which is good but the notch is big because of the presence of IR face unlock. And rest the display is Amazing!
The best camera at the 20k level segment, Yup! it is. The rear camera is 12+5MP, where the primary 12 MP Camera comes with a 1.4μm large pixel, f/1.9, dual-pixel autofocus and secondary 5 MP Camera, comes with a 1.12μm pixel, f/2.0 and pictures are amazing the pictures have a great dynamic range and has good depth of field. So now the video dept. where POCO does not do well and we believe this can be fixed through OTA updates, Anyways POCO does support EIS. And interestingly the POCO supports the 3D Lighting through Portrait Mode which we get to see in iPhones.
The POCO comes with the MIUI 9 and which is powered by Android 8.0.1 and the UI is very simple and light and supports third party icon packs and can be customized and Xiaomi promises to bring MIUI 10 to POCO soon. And there are some glitches and problems and we hope POCO would fix all these through future OTA updates.
This is where POCO wins the race the POCO is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 845 SOC which is clocked at 2.8 GHz at does comes with Adreno 630 GPU and which performs super fast everything is fast, from multitasking to gaming, we played PUBG the most and got the best performance without any lag or anything. And POCO does not even heat up because of the liquid cooling technology which is present in Note 9 which cost around 69k! So it is surely a value for money and our edition was 6 GB + 128 GB and it was super fast we liked it!
POCO comes with 4000mah battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 but the in-box Charger does support QC 3.0 the battery last longer and charges faster. And in our test, it lasts for one day with a single charge. So thumbs up to POCO. And this gonna never harm your gaming performance.
